How to start collecting Morgan Silver Dollars is easy just make a purchase. This coin is the most collected coin in the world and there are plenty of them out there. The main reason is simple beyond their beauty; they were minted from the largest silver strike in the history of the world. This was the Comstock Lode of Nevada in the late 1800’s. The find was so large that is drove down the price of silver considerably. Ø Size 38.1 mm in diameter
Since the counterfeit coins are made from silver of a different grade the best way to spot a counterfeit is by its weight. Morgan silver dollars that weigh just shy of 26.73 and are used is normal.

Hi!
Is there any book or website teaching you on how to check for fake US coin? Some of them weight the same but I still suspect that it is a fake because of their appearence.
